We are an approved VW Transporter Westdubs poptop roof installer and have been installing these roofs for many years, we truly believe they are the best elevating roofs on the market when it comes to quality, safety and value. 

All installations are carpet lined and fully finished, so there is no other work required. Collect your van and begin using your new roof straight away.

A Westdubs poptop roof is a great way to add extra space to your Transporter. 

A poptop roof is not just for sleeping in, they allow extra ventilation and they also increase headroom in the 'downstairs' area of your van.

How?

Our Westdubs poptop roof installation package comes as standard with a gas strut assisted bed board, this allows the van occupants to stand up fully whilst inside the van. The bed board simply pushes up and out of the way when the poptop is raised. The bed board is then lowered again when you wish to go 'upstairs' to use the roof space. 

The roof space is perfect for an adult and a toddler or two children to sleep comfortably in a SWB van, there is additional length in a LWB but both are fine for tall (6 foot) people to lay down in.

A mattress or airbed of 1000mm width and 1800mm in length can be used to increase comfort in the sleeping area of the roof. 

ELECTRICS

As standard you also get 12v dimmable internal roof lighting and a double power outlet for charging your phone or devices.

A slimline 270w solar panel is also added to the top of the roof that you can connect to a leisure battery or the vans main battery (we can do this too if you like).

QUALITY, STRENGTH & SAFTEY

Our campervan conversions are built to last so the quality of the Westdubs roof is important to us.

Their sleek profile only adds around 8cm to the vans height when closed. There is no reduction in head height for rear seat occupants (some slim profile roofs from other manufactures rob valuable head height) 

Westdubs poptop roofs are ISO 9001 certified and M1 safety tested, all are installed with a strengthening box section above the cab and laser cut strengthening frames that run all the way down the left, right and rear sides of the van offering huge strength and safety.

Westdubs use heavy duty marine quality fabric in their canvases with an impregnable coating. This means they’re strong, hold their shape and are resistant to abrasion, mildew and ultraviolet fade. They also add a clear seal coat to for a high degree of water resistance.

Through the use of a clever tensioned strap system on the inside of the canvas the danger of trapping the canvas in the hinge mechanism is non-existent, this leads to a long lasting canvas.
